MBA Women's Weekend 2021

Save the date: Friday, April 30, 2021 (optional activities) - Saturday, May 1, 2021 (main session)

Congratulations on being invited to join a small, elite group of MBA women to come together, build connections, and establish a plan to make your MBA experience and the life that follows truly spectacular. Our greatest joy comes in seeing you achieve your goals, and so we’ve created a unique, intimate, and fun platform for a tight-knit group of people to help each other. There is a reason this page isn't accessible through our public webpage. This event is invitation-only!

Our goal for the weekend is simple: we want to give you a chance to examine your MBA goals in detail, build deep relationships with exceptional women who can help you, and generate early momentum for your plans. Your peers will also be attending top schools (HBS, GSB, Wharton, Booth, Kellogg, Haas, Columbia, etc.), allowing you to magnify your network before even arriving on campus.

Our programming will also feature SCG alums - current MBA students and recent graduates (from GSB, HBS, Wharton, Kellogg, and more) - who will share their insights, supporting you and your cohort in preparing fully for your MBA experience.

Session Logistics

In 2020, we switched Women’s Weekend from an in-person event to completely online and we fell in love with the format. We will have an optional informal social event on Friday evening, however, our main sessions will take place on Saturday May 1, 2021.

Our intention is that you come away from the full day's experience with a cohort of women who will support your MBA, as past cohorts have for each other. In addition, we will help you establish clear goals and reinforce confidence in your ability to achieve them!

Our core programming, centered around building deep relationships between you and your peers, includes:

  • Team building and introductions: get to know your peers at other schools to magnify your network

  • Defining your vision: where do you see yourself in 10 years? This session will jumpstart your specific vision and provide support and partners to make it a reality

  • Taking stock before school starts:  a thorough review of your strengths, skills, risks, and vulnerabilities

  • Preparing for MBA realities: from imposter syndrome to how to say "no" (or "absolutely, yes!") to managing relationships in school, we'll cover practical topics related to the student experience

  • Creating your own luck: plan to excel in your two years of school, set goals that you’re inspired by, and prepare to hit the ground running

  • Alumni panels: you will have the opportunity to hear from and ask questions of previous Women’s Weekend Alumni from HBS, GSB, Wharton, Kellogg, and other top ten schools

The cost for the session is $499

We look forward to seeing you then!
