Andrea loves coaching people. But not just any people. Mostly the people and teams who want to change the game... and the world. In 2008, after an MBA from Chicago Booth and a career at Bain, she launched SCG to coach the people brave enough to ask themselves the toughest of tough questions. She challenges those willing to challenge the status quo. Helps the ones committed to helping others in equal measure. Andrea is known for celebrating wins with bear hug enthusiasm (even when it’s from 3500 miles away). Her greatest delights come in the form of her clients’ wins. Life-changing school admissions. Dream jobs made real jobs. Feelings of genuine confidence. Being included in these successes is her measure of a great engagement.

A veteran of Wall Street, large-cap technology companies, and 10+ years at Sparrey Consulting coaching next-generation business leaders into business school, Amit joined SCG full-time in 2018. In his role, Amit is expanding coaching programs, managing alumni relationships, formalizing the finance function & establishing our first-ever venture investing program. In the meantime, Amit still coaches a cross-section of clients directly, provides a sounding board for other coaches, and celebrates every client's success with a mixture of fist-bumps and emojis. In his spare time, Amit volunteers at local schools,& loves games, whiskey and creating learning opportunities for his two daughters.

With over a decade of coaching and mentoring under their belt, Billy finds true delight in helping others better understand their motivations and fast track their goals. Billy received their B.A. cum laude from Harvard University and their M.B.A. from the Yale School of Management. Prior to their M.B.A., Billy worked in Clifford Chance’s cross-border asset finance practice and as a senior compliance officer at JPMorgan Chase, where they also was as a Global Lead for JPMC’s LGBTQ employee resource group. For the last two years, they were a People leader at Stripe, where they drove technical solutions to metabolize Stripe’s 5x growth and accelerate the development of top talent. When they're not with clients, Billy can be found skiing, gaming, or exploring San Francisco’s music scene.

Leah graduated from UVA and later pursued her MBA at HBS. She has spent several years in consulting at Bain, exploring PE multiple times. An accomplished coach, Leah has helped candidates to succeed as MBA applicants and through the Management Consulting recruiting process.

Alicia was drawn to The Sparrey Consulting Group in 2017 by their passion for helping young professionals position themselves to make a difference in the world. She comes from a background in project management and uses her attention to detail and organization to support clients navigating the MBA application process. A graduate of Brigham Young University, Alicia enjoyed working in the scholarship office and serving on the Scholarship Appeals Committee. In her free time, you can find her training for triathlons, coaching her kids through their homework and extracurriculars, or on a quest to find the best pizza, burger, bbq, etc. (hence the need for triathlon training!)

Neha is a seasoned professional with a diverse set of experiences across the Education, Banking & Financial Services, and eCommerce industries. She brings a wealth of experience in client management, customer service and business operations with experience in servicing retail and corporate customers. She cares deeply for her customers, partners, and stakeholders and values investing time in building relationships. Her passions outside of work include training as a classical Kathak (an Indian dance form) dancer, being a mother to two young energetic kids, and cooking.

The Sparrey Consulting Group was founded in 2008 after early research showed that bright young professionals were spending an average of 90 hours completing applications to top-tier MBA programs. Company founder Andrea Sparrey saw an opportunity to save people time, make the process more rewarding, and most importantly, better help people achieve their goals.

After helping applicants gain admission to more than 60 schools, including Stanford, HBS, Wharton, Booth, Kellogg, Sloan, Tuck, Columbia, Stern, Haas, INSEAD, and LBS over the past several years, as well as over $28 million in scholarships, Sparrey Consulting expanded their services by developing programs to aid rising stars at other points in their career.
