The Sparrey Consulting Group was founded in 2008 after early research showed that bright young professionals were spending an average of 90 hours completing applications to top-tier MBA programs. Company founder Andrea Sparrey saw an opportunity to save people time, make the process more rewarding, and most importantly, better help people achieve their goals. 

After helping applicants gain admission to more than 20 schools, including Stanford, HBS, Wharton, Booth, Kellogg, Sloan, Tuck, Columbia, Stern, Haas, INSEAD, and LBS over the past several years, as well as over $16M in scholarship grants, Sparrey Consulting expanded their services by developing programs to aid rising stars at other points in their career.

About Andrea Sparrey, CEO of the Sparrey Consulting Group

Ms. Sparrey obtained an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business in 2003. After 4 years as a consultant with Bain & Company, where she took on increasing case and talent management responsibility, she founded Sparrey Consulting in order to pursue her passion for helping young professionals realize their maximum potential. This ultimately became The Sparrey Consulting Group, Inc., with expanded staffing professionals and programs designed to maximize the experiences of people at every stage of their career.

A natural collaborator, Andrea can often be found on college campuses on both coasts evangelizing the need for candidates to seek professional advice on managing their biggest investments: their careers. Andrea is an engaged leader, having served as co-chair of local alumni groups for both Booth and her undergraduate school, the University of Waterloo, and as a leader in professional organizations. She is Past-President of the Association of International Graduate Admissions Consultants (AIGAC) and has co-chaired industry conferences in Spain (2012), Philadelphia (2013) and New York (2014).

The Sparrey Consulting mock interview for Wharton was crucial for me. First, simply the experience of "walking through" the interview gave me insight into how it would feel on game-day.
